Can I create a Will on someone's behalf with Safewill?

You cannot create a Will on someone’s behalf, without their knowledge or consent. 

Additionally, the person named in the Will must have the mental capacity to understand and agree to the Will before signing it and having it witnessed.

Safewill cannot provide legal advice or assessments on the capacity of an individual.

If your client, friend or family member asks you to assist them with completing their Will on the Safewill platform, then you may do so.

Please ensure the email address and password that are used to register the account and create the Will are accessible to the person who is named in the Will.
